Terms and Conditions

1. The sender should carefully read the shipping terms and conditions on the front and reverse of this waybill and fill in the mailing information in an accurate manner.

2. The sender shall not post or deliver articles prohibited by Ghana laws and regulations, including but not limited to inflammable, explosive, dangerous, obscene articles, poisonous and harmful articles, sharp articles without effective packaging and harmful organisms(see detailed list in Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission Act 2003 (Act 649)). . 3. The sender should pack and deliver the goods properly and fill in the name of the goods in this waybill. Speedaf has the right to open and inspect the package without prior notice for safety, security or other regulatory reasons.

4. Speedaf’s Shipment charges are calculated according to the higher of actual or volumetric weight per piece and any piece may be re-weighed and re-measured by Speedaf to confirm this calculation.

5. Speedaf may be able to arrange insurance covering the value in respect of loss of or damage to the shipment, provided that the sender so instructs Speedaf in writing, including by completing the insurance section on the front of the waybill. It is recommended that high value items be insured at a rate of 5% of the declared value, with a minimum charge of 5 Ghanaian Cedis.

5.1 Unless otherwise agreed, if any loss/damage/shortage happened to the uninsured express shipments, the maximum compensation standard for articles shall not exceed 100 Ghanaian Cedis per shipment.

5.2 Unless otherwise agreed, if any loss/damage/shortage happened to the uninsured express shipments, the maximum compensation standard for documents shall not exceed 50 Ghanaian Cedis per shipment.

5.3 The value of the shipment delivered by the sender shall not exceed 10,000 Ghanaian Cedis per shipment. If the shipment is lost, damaged or short, the actual loss value shall be compensated, and the maximum amount shall not exceed the declared value of the shipment.

6. Speedaf provides a courier inquiry service within 6 months from the shipment collection date. The sender can access Speedaf official website Speedaf.com or call the Speedaf Ghana customer service hotline for tracking.

7. If the shipment is undeliverable due to the receiver’s refusing or failure of re-delivery or any reason not attributable to Speedaf, it is deemed that Speedaf has fulfilled the delivery obligation. Speedaf has the right to charge the sender the return fee as a result of any return shipment. If the sender does not agree to pay the return fee, Speedaf has the right to dispose the shipment as ownerless in its own way.

8. The sender should file a claim in writing within 14 calendar days after shipment collection, and it should have a valid identity certificate, the sender's stub of the waybill, and the proof of the value of the lost shipment. Speedaf will make compensation within 7 working days after verifying the above information.

9. Speedaf is not liable for delays, damages or loss of shipments due to the following conditions:

9.1 The characteristic or reasonable loss of the item itself;

9.2 Force majeure, including but not limited to earthquakes, typhoons, fires, floods, wars or other force majeure events agreed by both parties;

9.3 The sender or the receiver is at fault;

9.4 The outer packaging is intact and the goods in the package are short or damaged and cannot be proved to be caused by the carrier.

10. The information on the front side of this waybill together with the terms and conditions on the reverse constitutes a courier service contract. Unless otherwise agreed, once the sender fills out all the information on the front side of the waybill with signature and the shipment is collected by Speedaf, the courier service contract shall come into effect.

11. These terms and conditions apply to the laws of Ghana.
